The city of Salta, like any institution formed and operated by human beings, sometimes is right and others are wrong. It is normal that this happens.

Although municipal mistakes are like the aciertos- of varied types, those that have to do with the use of the words are often perceived both by those who commit such as those who suffer as a peccadillo. And this is really bad happens.
What is not generally noticed is that behind a grammatical or linguistic mistake a wrong action, an evil act of government is hiding. And what is worse: a person who lacks adequate knowledge hides; someone who calls things by a name that does not match that used for the actions taken by the verbs wrong. That is, a person who should not be in government.
Today's example is the reflective vest

that the Municipality intends to deliver the metered parking permit holders; ie those Vienna choirboys you generally charge a tax for the poor and the first disgust you scratch the body, they break the mirrors or you deflate the wheels.
But there are also unscrupulous drivers, evaders, stingy and aggressive leveraging to run over any slight discrepancy, the Municipality has decided to provide them with safety vest; ie capable of returning light in multiple directions and make more visible the human figure of the collector. What it is, ultimately, it is "visible" vulnerable minorities; something that is very fashionable now.
What will not distribute the Municipality will be 'refractory' vests, ie jackets with reflective tape that are able to resist the action of fire without altering (such the Dictionary). It's more; if a permit holder wants to test his vest, we suggest you take the stove next Guard under the Stars to put hot fire the municipal vest and see what happens.
It is not desirable to confuse, then, between reflective and refractory. At least not convenient for the municipality, since the word "refractory" and pointed out-meaning besides meaning "who refuses to fulfill a promise or obligation" and also "opposed, rebellious to accept an idea, opinion or custom."
So, starting today, vests will be "reflective" as the mirrored disco balls, and not "refractory" as the bricks of the grill.
