A large part of everyday work is taken up by road traffic and road safety. The children learned. During the tour, of course, they were also allowed to take a look into the cell in the cellar.
The officers also showed them the technical equipment of the guard, the equipment and the uniform including pistol, handcuffs, baton and safety vest. In addition, the children were allowed to take fingerprints and be photographed by the Forensics Service. The digital image, however, was not in the wanted file, but to commemorate the entertaining day at the police.
Of course, the law enforcement officers also had the children who wears safety clothing with reflective tapes sit in the police cars and briefly pressed the siren so that everyone felt like a little policeman.
The officials also answered questions, especially from older children, about training a police officer.

Police Superintendent Britta Schroeder said that the children's holiday action was also about introducing the police and reducing the fear of scaring. The police quartet succeeded in doing so not only with the child-friendly guide through the area, but also with the final barbecue party.
