Retirees from Kluczbork organized the official inauguration of the cycling season. 30 cyclists took part in the first rally in 2021. They all wore reflective vests to keep them visible and safe on the road.
Before the start of the first rally, the policemen from the County Police Headquarters in Kluczbork reminded the rules of road safety.
Bicycles and cyclists were blessed by Fr. Stefan Hrynyszyn from the Sacred Heart monastery in Kluczbork. The inauguration of the cycling season was also attended by the vice-mayor of Kluczbork, Les?aw Czernik, and the vice-mayor of Kluczbork, Dariusz Morawiec.
The route of the first rally in the season led from Kluczbork to B?ków
"This year we divided into two groups. One group is enthusiastic cyclists who will ride longer routes, and the other group is fans of calmer and shorter rides," informs Irena Kowalczyk, president of the Polish Association of Pensioners and Disabled People in Kluczbork.
Anyone can join the weekly bike rallies.
"Tours are organized every Wednesday, starting at 10.00 a.m. Start at the entrance to the Kluczbork park. We invite all interested seniors," says Irena Kowalczyk, president of the Polish Association of Pensioners and Disabled People in Kluczbork.
