On October 31st, the "Reflective School" contest was held in the Educational Placement Team. The aim of the happening was to raise awareness about road safety among students and residents, and to highlight the need for children to wear reflective elements for up to fifteen years.
Suzanna, Director of ZPO, pointed out that the aim of this noble idea is to make parents, careers and educators aware of the need for children to wear reflective vest.
Gregory Hate’s staff reminded the children of the basic principles of moving the road in the form of columns. He also presented sad statistics from which it is clear that 50% the victims of the accidents are cyclists and children.
After the column was formed, a multicolored parade led by a police car left the school. All the students were dressed in reflective vests. Additional elements that attracted attention were posters, marked balloons and reflective bands. Each of them performed a banner with a slogan promoting glitter, and during the march she changed her motto. Children sang songs and recited poems about security. Drivers and residents were responding to children's marches.
They said that such action made them aware of the necessity of wearing reflective material, especially in places where pavements were lacking. "Reflective March" was organized by the coordinators of action: Halima Nowak and Kristina. The reflective safety lesson on the road will long remain in the memory of students, teachers as well as residents.
