Donating a thousand mountain bikes so that students can travel to their study centers is the goal of the Dream Weavers Foundation.
The initiative was conceived when taking into account that in Costa Rica there are about 53 thousand young people who are not enrolled in any educational center in many cases due to the distance that separates them from their home to school and the difficulties in making the journey.

"Al cole en Bici" is the name of the initiative that aims to deliver packages that also include the maintenance kit, as well as the helmet and reflective vest, at a total cost of $ 140.
"So far we have been able to buy 250 bicycles with the donations received inside and outside the country. We call on all people and companies to join this cause and contribute with Tejedores de Sueños to facilitate this important tool", said Fernando Mayorga, president of said Foundation.
The bicycles will be donated by the Foundation to various centers in rural areas of the country, selected by the Unit for Permanence, Reincorporation, and Educational Success of the Ministry of Public Education.
