City guards handed over several dozen reflective vests to cyclists, so that the amateurs of the two wheels are better visible and safer. Reflections hit the pedestrians.
Once again, the city guards set out on bicycle paths to ensure the safety of cyclists. On Monday, each cyclist encountered on their way received a reflective vest with reflective materials. The guards also remembered the safety of pedestrians. Those in turn received reflective tapes from the officers.
Pedestrians and cyclists constitute a large group of road accident victims. Therefore, it is their safety that should be especially taken care of. During a collision with another vehicle, the driver can count on airbags or seat belts. Pedestrians and cyclists do not protect anything. The reflective elements will at least allow them to be seen from a distance. They save lives of unprotected road users.
The City Guard prepared a total of 300 reflective vests. Half of them have already reached cyclists. They will receive next Bialystok during the next actions.
