Everyone is enjoying the tropical summer weather in the Netherlands, but agents in Friesland pull no longer: their reflective uniform is really much too hot.
Although the new police dress with bright yellow reflective stripes last year introduced across the country, this happened only in December in Friesland. Prior to the current heat there were complaints. Some were already in the spring that the outfit is too hot.
The dark blue shirt wearing runners holds a lot of heat. Companies therefore often wear a special shirt underneath, which should work moisturizing. Police officers also wear often a safety vest.
A police spokesman has said that there will be a review of the new uniform.
