Immediately after the firefighters released the mother and small child from the latched elevator at the Legionowski Przystanek train station, the equipment failed again and jammed again.
At the railway station at Legionowo Przystanek, another elevator failed. On Friday (March 16 this year), a few minutes after 5 pm, Legionowo firefighters were alerted to the failure of the elevator located at the Legionowo Przystanek railway station. It turned out that a mother with a small child was imprisoned in the elevator.
Firefighters opened the elevator using a multi-functional key. "We helped the imprisoned to safely leave the elevator," informs the duty officer of the State Headquarters of the State Fire Service (KP PSP) in Legionowo, adding that nothing happened to anyone and that there was no need for medical intervention. When the mother and her child left the elevator, it slammed shut again. "We secured the entrance to the damaged elevator with special reflective tape, and then we informed the passenger lift conservator of its failure," explain the firefighters participating in this rescue operation.
