Shortly before three o'clock in the morning, a young man died on the road I / 24 in southern Bohemia. He was hit by a thirty-three-year-old Mercedes driver. Police investigated the case but found that the man was walking down the road between the villages in dark clothes and without reflective material elements at night. Another person died in the evening near Moravske Budejovice.
The tragic accident between the villages of Halamky and Tust happened on Saturday shortly after 3 am. The pedestrian was to be knocked down by a driver (born in 1986) of a Mercedes car heading from Suchdol to Halámky.
According to the initial information, the pedestrian, born in 2000, had no reflective tape elements and was wearing dark clothing. This reduced the chance for the driver to see and avoid the pedestrian in time.
The breathing test ruled out that the Mercedes driver would drink before driving. The case was taken over by the Jindrichuv Hradec criminalists who will investigate the causes and circumstances of the accident.
"In connection with this case, we ask drivers who drove between Suchdol nad Lužnicí and Halámky from 3.00 to 4.00 in the morning and noticed pedestrian movement or saw the clash itself, contact the criminals on line 158," a spokesman for South Bohemian police said.
A tragic accident is also being investigated by police officers in the Highlands. After 6 pm on-road II / 152 near Moravske Budejovice, two cars collided. All components of the Integrated Rescue System intervened.
