Le Coq Sportive, partner of the yellow jersey with reflective fabric since 2012 - and until 2021 at least - after the jerseys crafted editions from 1951 to 1988, remains an iconic brand associated with great moments of French sport (whose last success of a French Grand Slam Noah in 1983, barely older than the last French winner of the Tour, Bernard Hainault in 1985). Two colors are available. The first wants to darker navy blue on top, gray on the bottom. The second model, the one we tested, is bright yellow on top for the same gray reflective tape on the bottom. First qualitatively, this jacket is very visible and plays both ways, both the yellow vest to wear when evening falls, and the brilliant gray that reflects well and makes it more visible to motorist’s runner. We systematically wore this jacket with a single underlay, either a sub-raglan shirt or long sleeves, under the proposed temperatures. Fog, cold damp, dry and cold weather, the rain, the jacket has never been faulted, even Venous when the snow began to fall at Chalet Reynard. Nothing to say, it's effective. Short Sleeved, brushed interior is very pleasant to the skin. The rather large zip is thought to winter. It has a lining that covers the inside this potential point of entry of air. A good point yet.
On the front, the jacket is sober. The blue-white-red logo of the Coq Sportive evokes the Trojan origins of the company, the Tour de France reminds the current Partnership. The sleeves are navy blue or yellow, and very well finished ribbed with long gloves, without any possible air inlet, and without compression of the wrist. At the rear, access to two pockets is simplified. Two side zip pockets closed upwards, more than enough to put all his gear to prevent the puncture as the most personal belongings (keys, cell phone or also Raito). They are easy to access, their ability is very important; you can even put an extra layer in case. Finally the only risk with this type of pocket is to overload! The pockets are very well appointed, allowing you to wear this jacket in "civilian" without seeming a cyclist who lost his bike!
Note that the sizes range from S to XXL, the only gripe we will make this jacket size well in anticipation of three layers of course, but would be a size XS view. To 1.81 meters and 65 kg S, especially with a single layer, it is almost too big. Small concern reinforced by the fact that this jacket is not offered in the women's range, you will not even be able to type in the range next door. The offer price is 219 Euros, nothing to say, the product is beautiful, efficient, and that is a reasonable buy for those who want to confine in basic endurance or not.
