A tragic road accident occurred yesterday (19 March) near Lowe Busy (Pampas commune). There, the Opel driver hit a 39-year-old man who died on the spot. He walked correctly, but he was not wearing a reflective vest with reflective fabric. The causes of the tragedy will be explained by the police investigation.
The accident occurred at 22.30 on the road Lowe Busy - Jenkins (W527). There, a 32-year-old people driver, on a straight stretch of road, hit a 39-year-old man. The pedestrian died on the spot. Initial findings of the police officers indicate that he was walking correctly. However, he was not wearing a reflective vest with reflective tapes. As it turned out, he had her hidden in a backpack. Yesterday there was also another event involving pedestrians. Around 5 pm on Neutral Street in Elbe, a 54-year-old KIA driving a car, she hit a woman with two children at a pedestrian crossing.
The 35-year-old victim passed properly. She herself suffered general body injuries, while her 3-year-old daughter suffered a fractured hand. The driver lost her rights. She was sober. Policemen investigate the circumstances of the accident and at the same time, they will apply to the road administrator to create in this place, the so-called elevated transition. The use of this type of solution means that drivers must slow down, so the risk of an accident becomes much smaller.
