Each year, there are an accident 30,000 children under 15 years on the road, often because they are seen too late or not. To prevent this, and to enhance safety, children should wear reflective clothing to school, such as a safety vest.
Therefore, the safety vests action the ADAC Stiftung "Gelber Engel" repeatedly performs for school. It thus makes an important contribution to road safety of children.
As part of the nationwide now performed handover of safety vests for school, the children of the two first classes got their vest.
Bernhard, the chairman of the local ADAC clubs MSC Weser Bad Karlshafen in ADAC gave the vest of reflective material along with the class teacher of class 1a, Dagmar, and the homeroom teacher of class 1 b, Hartmann, in the first years.
The ADAC Stiftung "Gelber Engel" and its partners have distributed nationwide in this campaign about 760,000 safety vests to the participating schools, to make with the aim of the school in the now coming "dark season" for the youngest road users safer.
Since the beginning in 2010 until now over three million first graders have received a safety reflective vest and the Sieburgschule and the MSC Weser Bad Karlshafen in ADAC participated for the sixth time in this action.
