Homb is a combination of a bag and a carrying system that is intended to make everyday life for young families much more flexible in the future. Without a buggy or stroller, parents can stow everything they need with them and still have Plan B literally "in their pockets" if the little ones run out of breath or have to go faster in between.

The child then simply steps into the integrated foot straps and is held onto the parent's back with a safety vest. So both still have their hands free. The idea comes - how could it be otherwise - from two mothers. Together, Stefanie Fischer and Nina Sommer developed the piggyback rucksack, which they always missed on trips, on excursions, and in everyday life when their children were in kindergarten.

"A buggy is of course very useful in some situations. But there are also so many moments when he makes everything more cumbersome. He cannot climb stairs and is usually not suitable for hiking trails. On the plane, it has to be bulky and in the car, it takes up far too much space in the trunk. That is why we were looking for an alternative," explains Stefanie Fischer, explaining the founders' motivation.

After the first development steps on their hobby sewing machines, a professional prototype is now ready. Inspired by 2nd place in the Hanover startup impulse competition, the two women want to raise the necessary capital for a first small series with a crowdfunding campaign on the startnext.de platform from mid-April.
